OsloMet, 6-9 October 2026

This focused workshop will bring together researchers from QOpen Working Groups 2 and 3 for a four-day meeting at OsloMet, from 6 to 9 October 2026. The workshop will address the interface between dissipative quantum matter and the characterization and control of open quantum platforms, with particular emphasis on non-equilibrium phases, driven and monitored quantum systems, dissipative stabilization, noisy quantum devices, and strategies for using dissipation as a resource.

The goal is to identify common challenges, benchmark problems, collaboration opportunities, and possible joint outputs.

The workshop is expected to strengthen the interaction between WG2 and WG3, support young researchers, and generate concrete follow-up activities such as STSMs, joint manuscripts, and a possible perspective or roadmap contribution.
